Finding Joy During Pain

Do you ever find yourself in pain and you do not know what to do about it because you are on tons of medication already, but find that you still have a lot of pain? There is no point in going to the doctor because they are just going to say they are going to raise your prescription strength to reduce some of your pain.

I do not know about you but raising the strength of my medication has only made me feel more tired and worse. I had no energy, and I did not know if I was coming or going. In fact, I have gotten to the point where I was taking my meds and taking them as needed because if I had something to do, I was not about to take all those medicines that only made me groggy and sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Well, something amazing happened to turn that all around.

I had begun to seek the Lord for joy and peace. I had discovered in my reading that, “words spoken with specificity and feeling equals manifestation.” Robert Tennyson Stevens in Conscious Language lets us know, “By loving the pain, the memory comes back, and if we re-live and love the experience with all the corresponding thoughts, words, and emotions, the body will heal, in reverse order as the symptoms have appeared.” This book along with a friend who has been sharing how to activate joy has really helped my spiritual growth. She reminded me to continue loving my pain.

I can honestly say I am overjoyed with the fact that this entire fall season has been difficult for me as I deal with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It sounds crazy, but I learned something that helped me deal with my pain which gave me joy! Well, when my friend shared to love my pain, I remembered, and the memory came as I loved the pain that I felt every morning. I also loved the pain I felt when putting on my clothes. I woke up the next morning, and I stood straight up with no pain, and I was able to put on my clothes with no pain!

God is utterly amazing! Ever since I specifically manifested my feelings with Conscious Language instead of speaking from my limiting beliefs. “Life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21). Until I realized the necessity for changing my mindset and language to be transformed by the renewing of my mind instead of conforming to the pattern of this world (see Rom. 12:2), then I began to see a way to be healed. Healing needs to begin from within, and then everything else will heal as well. I can do nothing without God. I had to begin “seeking first his kingdom and righteousness,” (see Matt. 6:33) and then everything else began to flow. God in me can do all things that strengthen me and the same can happen for you!
